Ran across this version of the silver 99.2 dial with a shadowed seconds subdial:

It has an interesting way of highlighting the Quattro Arret function. I think
I've seen this on the DDS website, but never in a photograph before.

That is interesting, hadn't seen it before. I'm not sure I'd choose it myself, though.

Agreed. The shading looks neat, but it unbalances the dial a bit.

I've seen that dial on the Dornbluth site as well but I also thought it was only a mocked up graphic to help folks understand the quattro arret function. I had no idea it was an actual dial on a real watch. It would be a notable Dornbluth to have being possibly one of the first with the QA function, but I also feel the look is too unbalanced to wear.
