Anything from DDS at Baselworld this year? I checked the list of exhibitors online, but did not see them listed. Question

See Tony's post.

The black dialed Regulators are quite striking, and the new ladies models are gorgeous! Exclamation

Cool new dials.

Any info on the new smaller movement in the 34mm watches?

Tom,

I got a "head's up" from Dirk about this new series a few weeks ago. Here's what he had to say (I had asked him whether any modifications were required to create the large seconds indicator):

"The movement for the new ladies watch has 50% of an old movement of the
50ties, which is ETA 1120. The other 50% are made in house, like 3/4 plate,
balance cock etc. We have been in luck with this old watch parts, because the second indicator
was with the larger size already, when we build the prototype."

Cheers!

Thanks for the additional information from Dirk. A quick search turned up that the ETA 1120 was already a subseconds movement, and reasonably sized at 26 mm, so I'd guess that it naturally puts the subseconds dial in the correct, balanced location in a 34 mm case.

I love the work Dirk has done on it, and the hobnail dial is very sharp!
