New Dornblüth family

In June 2012 Dornblüth will celebrate the 50th anniversary.

Then a new model family is supposed to be presented.

The starting price will be around € 7000,00.

I´m excited what we can expect.

When I picked up my watch in June 2009, Dirk told me that he was working on a new model. Since then I tried a few time to have some clues from him but to no avail. The only news he gave me was that the watch will be slightly smaller (than the 99.1) and that there is a new complication ...
I am very excited to hear that it will be ready soon.
Any clues of what it could be?

As far as I know it is postponed to September due to internal reasons.

It is funny how I am trying to guess what will be coming out of this 50th birthday edition. I know he has been thinking about the Dornbluth Tourbillon for a while, but it would be more than the €7k mentioned

Not many but some more details after my recent visit in Kalbe:

- the case will be much smaller (around 38mm)
- the number of own parts will increase

An extension of the workshop is planned still this year to have enough room for the additional equipment to produce the additional own parts.

Any update on this watch? I've been holding off purchasing a watch until Dirk unveils this one. Is the smaller case size definitive?
