Greetings to the forum from the Netherlands

My name is Hans Mennink, and I'm into watches for 9 years now.
I developed a special liking for Omega Speedmasters, the brand Sinn, the work and the person that Christiaan van der Klaauw is, and for the Masterpiece serie from Maurice Lacroix.

It was Christiaan van der Klaauw that first attended me to the wonderful work of the family Dornbluth. I first met Dirk at the 2006 Basel watch-fair while visiting the AHCI stand. he had a suitcase with many lovely watches. On the picture is Dirk, his lovely wife (pregnant at that time), and Christiaan van der Klaauw inspecting one of the Dornbluth watches.

It's crazy that I still don't have a Dornbluth watch, but it is on the top position of my wish list. Hope to show my first Dorny soon here.

I've never met Christiaan van der Klaauw but I think some of the watches he makes are simply stunning.
