The Ur-Dornblüth

You've probably read the story on the Dornblüth site about the genesis of the company: Dirk's presentation to his father of his first creation of a Dornblüth watch. Well, courtesy of a Japanese blogger who visited Kalbe, I share photos of "The Very First Dornblüth"





The base caliber is the GUB 60.1 (this family of movements gave rise to the Dornblüth 03.0 "Mini" and (I think) the 04.0 "Midi"). It has been considerably enhanced with many signature features, as you can see.

Excellent that you got confirmation from Dirk. I think GUB 60.1 and 60.3 are the subsecond and indirect center second versions of the same movement. I don't imagine it would be difficult for someone of Dirk's skill to change the 60.3 back to a subseconds layout.
