Hello guy’s (and maybe some girls since the introduction of the Jasmin),
I am also new here on the Dornbluth forum . Last Wednesday I bought myself a 99.1 with some extra features at the AWC store here in the Netherlands (very nice store, specialized in vintage watches). Still have to wait half a year before delivery, but for something this special I am happy to do so. I have been following this watch for more than a year on the internet and couldn’t resist it any longer. The shear craftsmanship always amazed me and seeing the original made me realize that it is something very special. Hopefully those six month’s will pass very quickly.

Hello Kees,

Please post some photos of your new watch. The 99.1 is a classic!

Cheers

Welcome to the forum, Kees. Look forward to seeing photos of your 99.1 when it arrives.

What options did you choose?

Hi Guy’s,
Thanks for the welcome. I’m sure going to post some pictures as soon as it’s in. I opted for the enamel dial and engraving of initials on the back.
I saw you’re from Dublin Mark. A city which I still keep some nice memories from. Have stayed in Dublin for some month’s during a project. Still remember the coffee and breakfast from Bewley’s Newlands Cross hotel.

I hope your memories of the coffee and breakfast are good memories, Kees!

I went for the enamel dial, too, and I'm really glad I chose it- it's a little bit different and makes the watch feel even more special.
