We've seen the version of the 99.2 with the shadowed subdial:

While I think the dial is unbalanced on this particular watch I'm thinking it would look pretty cool on a 99.1 and give that ALS 1815 look.

Does anyone have opinions or know if this dial has been done yet?

I totally agree with you. The shadowed small second is somehow unbalanced. If i´m not wrong it is meant as an indication of the Quattro Arret function. I only saw this dial a few times and cannot remember if a 99.1 was among them.

As you said this dial would only fit to a 99.1 although it still disturbs the simplicity of the watch (imho).

I also agree with you that shadowed subdial is unbalanced. As I understand it, Dirk refused to be of such design for the watches with QA.
