The dial on my Regulator is actually the engraved, silvered dial. Here's a photo:

Hi, everybody Web

The Regulator is also available with an enamel dial. Neither dial for the Regulator, to my knowledge, is available with "appliques", which I understand to mean the raised or applied polished silver or blue numerals that are available on the dials for the 99.x models.

Does this help?

Dear Dornblogger, I very like your 'Regulator' it's very very very beautiful, but your says make me confuse. The Regulator are all engraved not same with 99.x model. And his option has appliques and enamel. I hope Dirk can help me to make a 'Regulator' like yours, but I can not describe the spec about appliques or enamel, it's too difference. So, How do I discuss with Dirk? Please help me.

Rick:

Please look at this page from the D.Dornblüth & Sohn website Regulator

To my knowledge, there are only two dial options: engraved silvered (like mine), which appears in the foreground; and enamel, which appears in the background. You can also specify whether or not you want the circle on the hours subdial in either material.

Does this help? scratch

Dear Dornblogger, thanks for your answer. So, Regarding your says, the 'Regulator' separate forgrund and background. And it can select option to process. Ok, in the other word, Do you pay any enamel's fee? or just pay 'Regulator' body's fee? Is there any option process will be pay for it? Thanks again.

Rick:

I invite you to send an email to Dirk Dornblüth at info@dornblueth.com. Tell him you are interested in ordering the Regulator. He will ask you about all of the options, and he'll explain the difference in cost between those options. It is your chance to work directly with the man who will make your watch. Smile

Cheers!
